Following the Rotary Club H₂O, which was founded in Switzerland in August 2025, another “water club” is in the works.

The initiative comes from Dirk Brinschwitz, a Rotarian (RC Torgau-Oschatz Katharina v. Bora) and member of Wasser ohne Grenzen e.V. ~ he intends to draw on his experience in establishing the club. Accordingly, the working title of the club planned for District 1880 is “Rotary Club Wasser grenzenlos,” although the club and the association will, of course, remain legally distinct from one another, while still being able to tap into synergy potential in the spirit of a win-win collaboration.

We are currently seeking interested founding members. Anyone interested in water—whether it’s rainwater management, keeping coastlines free of trash, or serving as a drinking water sommelier—is welcome to contact Dirk Brinschwitz directly.
