Almost 800 million people have to get by on an income of less than 1.90 dollars a day. We are committed to helping people lift themselves out of poverty and stand on their own two feet.

Our members and their foundation help people become self-employed and support local entrepreneurs, especially women, in impoverished communities. Rotary helps in various ways, with training, good, dignified jobs and access to financial institutions.

We want to establish a German-speaking club on this topic.
