Rotary Club Garden & Life
“Those who have a garden need no paradise,” says a Persian proverb. It encapsulates so much of what ROTARY aims to achieve—and is already successfully accomplishing—with both mind and action.
With this theme, we are seizing the opportunity to promote the common good through gardening and green projects—including education, environmental and climate protection (air, water, soil), nutrition and health, and biodiversity—to name just a few initial ideas—in line with Rotary’s priorities.
The Club and Its Future Members
We aim to create a network of friends from a wide variety of professional backgrounds who wish to get involved in the Rotary spirit: from those with a general interest, to gardening and green space enthusiasts, to experts and dedicated individuals from all professions—such as horticulture, urban planning, environmental protection, pedagogy, education, health, social work, and business, among others.
The Profile
The club aims to combine hands-on projects with support for initiatives in social institutions and nature, insofar as this helps us serve as a driving force for improving our natural world.
Future Format
Meetings every 14 days, in person and/or online (time and location to be determined).
We welcome interested individuals from the greater District 1820 area and Northern Hesse.
