Clean drinking water, decent sanitation and hygiene education are essential for a healthy environment in which people can lead productive and fulfilling lives.

When people have access to clean water and sanitation, the incidence of waterborne diseases is reduced, children stay healthier and attend school more regularly, and mothers spend less time fetching water and more time caring for their families.

We want to establish at least one Rotary Club with a focus on water, sanitation and hygiene. Separate clubs on the individual topics of water or hygiene are also conceivable.
